Well, Pat and Ash just held a fancy cocktail party at the Mendenhall Garden Room to celebrate their engagement. They had Tatertinis (white or purple whipped potatoes in a martini glass topped with sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, scallions, and garlic sauce) and super rare prime rib! Plus those bangin' Mendenhall appetizers (lollipop chops!). My present was a hard choice... it was between a table-top pro meat slicer and a combo panini press/griddle. I went with the griddle because I though they would both enjoy that, but I don't yet know if Ashley likes slicing stuff with a spinning blade. My dad of course took lots of pics, and here are a choice few!
