YES! Wilmington's top Meta-Pop (PATENT PENDING!) outfit the M.F.'n Headies, doin' what they do best! Photos by Nikki!

Jukebox Zeros @ the Spot 7/25/09

Much thanks to the Jukebox Zeros for coming down from Philly and treating us to their "Chuck Berry on Steroids" brand of punk 'n roll... from that description you know they are up my alley! Hopefully the Headies will breach the Philly City Limits and go play with these dudes! And go see them at Wilmington's own Mojo 13 on August 29 with the Rooftops, the Hot Rods, and the Terribles. I'll be there so earn scenester points off me! And you can buy their new disc, "Rock and Roll Ronin."

S.H.O.T. @ the Spot 7/25/09

You know I wear my heart on my sleeve and rarely play the cool kid game like my elders before me, so I say straight up: I love S.H.O.T. and feel very fortunate to have them! Please keep up the great work! Even the Main Man says they are tops!

Pop Punk News

Fuckin' Awesome Green Day concert at the ol' Spectrum the other night! Including "2,000 Light Years Away", "Words I Might Have Ate", and many, many more. I have never seen that many people at a concert before, and I saw Aerosmith there seventeen years ago! It was even better than when we saw Green Day at the Big Kahuna with the Living End and I got the drunkest I ever did and only really remember when they played "Waiting" which was unbelievable. I woke up under a tree that night! Thanks to Murph for takin' us!

And also too: New Riverdales, Record of the Year. More later, READ THIS.
