More Bad News

Well, unfortunately, some of the standards at the Urban Bike Project a.k.a. the Spot have been altered, and they will no longer be hosting weeknight shows. This begins immediately, including the 4/20 show for next Monday. We were offered to begin the show at 9pm, after whatever event they scheduled is through, but six bands on a Monday starting at 9? Uh-uh. I apologize to all the great bands, and I'll be in touch personally, just in case they don't read Danthology (Philistines). Repeat: no longer a show on April 20th... we'll all just have to find some other way to celebrate Hitler's birthday and the anniversary of the shootings at Columbine. More info on the availability of the Spot to follow. Now, interestingly enough, bands we did not book are listed as playing on the Spot's MySpace along with us... Oi!
