Engagement Party

Well, Pat and Ash just held a fancy cocktail party at the Mendenhall Garden Room to celebrate their engagement. They had Tatertinis (white or purple whipped potatoes in a martini glass topped with sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, scallions, and garlic sauce) and super rare prime rib! Plus those bangin' Mendenhall appetizers (lollipop chops!). My present was a hard choice... it was between a table-top pro meat slicer and a combo panini press/griddle. I went with the griddle because I though they would both enjoy that, but I don't yet know if Ashley likes slicing stuff with a spinning blade. My dad of course took lots of pics, and here are a choice few!

Congratulations Pat and Ash!

For those of you who don't know, my kid brother recently got engaged to his beautiful, cool, and sweetness, Miss Ashley Rhine! I could not be happier! They are the best couple and very in love (for like six years now!) And the best news, (yes it gets even better), is Paddy asked me to be the best man! I am a two-time MVP! Like Ryan Howard shoulda been! Here is the card through which Paddy asked me (with a little Photshopped Magic), plus the ROCK... It's funny, cause the rest of Paddy's groomsmen might have had less than an idel view of me, due to some previous boisterousness on my part, but after this... WHOO! I'm a modern day Eliza Doolittle.
