Headies Photo Shoot Outtakes

We Headies just got done a very successful photo shoot by Delaware/Philly/San Diego's finest photog, my kid brother, Paddy Robinson! He is so talented and cool and constantly makes me so proud, I am a very lucky big brother. Our record, entitled "Sugar and Spice (and Everything's Fucked)" is due out this July on Madison Underground Records, and if you want a taste, just listen to it in it's entirety on my sidebar there! Oh, and in a very special offer, we are still fielding executive producers. That is investors who would be listed on the album itself as executive producer. $200 dollars should round out the gatefold cover we wanna do, so get in touch, if you love punk rock and have money. You know who you are! Special on set thanks to Costume Mistress Nikki Frazer and Animal Wrangler Ashley Rhine! And Paddy would prolly like you to no that these particular versions are low-res and untouched.

Mister Billy Frolic!

The heart and soul of the Headies and clearly the cute one: Toddy Purse!

And finally your's truly, Dan. Yeah I know their's more of me than anybody, Shut Up! It's cuz I made Paddy keep going through many costume changes. Note the classic Endless Mike Jambox shirt by Moist.

If that's what's on the cutting room floor, what they kept must be pure gold! http://www.robinsonimaging.com/

Champion Robinson

Here are some adorable shots my bro Paddy took of his pup Champ! Champ is one of a long line of proud Robinson Dalmatians... me and Pat grew up with Gypsy, who was beautiful and of the finest most mellow temperament. Next was my dog, Mona, who was almost certainly a bit inbred. It payed off physically, as she was pure beauty, but she was mad temperamental. But she loved me, and when I was in those harsh teen years, I could ALWAYS count on Mona to be another pretty, if misunderstood friend. Then came Rosie, a farm rescue dog who was a genius and old-fashioned. I miss those three very much, but love that Champion!

Endless Mike Jambox @ Punk Rock Prom 2005

This is a real scorcher! The last Endless Mike Jambox show with Matty Volk on drums before he went on to bigger and worse things! The Punk Rock Prom 2005 at North Street in Newark, DE, where everything went tits up for me, but damn can I sing! I'm dressed like a weird-o casue it's the PRP, but Billy Frolic always dresses like that. Strangely I have the same haircut right now, after much variation. Paddy Robinson on bass and mc Ben on lead guitar, and most importantly, filmed and uploaded by Brendo-"Nintendo" Huffman. It looks awesome, Bren, kinda like Cloverfield! Scary. (Hit Play then Pause to let the son of a bitch buffer!) Oh, and I apologize for any rude gestures I made during the filming!

P.S. - If Matt wants to do a record I will too.

Endless Mike Jambox

Oi! We (that is Tit Patrol and the Headies!) have some new video on the way, thanks to the newly (and thankfully for us) returned Jamesage! So in anticipation, to whet yer whistle, here are some killer live action videos of my directly previous band, the infamous Endless Mike Jambox, featuring Billy Frolic on rhythm guitar and back-up vocals, mc Ben on lead guitar, Paddy Robinson on bass, John Paul Pfizer on drums, and me Danny on singer! F.Y.I. i have a lot of old live footage of everything I ever did from Ninja Attak to Power of IV (when I was drinking!) to the Jambox to today, and I plan on digitizing all the old VHS and making a master Dan-Live Channel on which you can spend your days and brains, never to turn the station, cause you KNOW I do it the best.

Joebama! '08

My kid brother, the very talented Paddy Robinson, has dedicated his uncanny design skills to the political arena for a new piece entitled "Joebama '08", in the medium of t-shirt. Show your support for the good guys and do it in neo-modernist style!

Want one? Sure you do. Hit me up at rdan.robinson@gmail.com for a price or to put in a pre-order on the first edition run. Check out all of Paddy's work at http://www.robinsonimaging.com/. Design copyright Robinson Imaging 2008.

mc Ben and Decade of Error

Some patches from mc Ben's super-awesome collection!

I first met mc Ben when he was just fourteen, a freshman at Sallies and not yet the mc. He played bass in my kid brother's aggro-punk outfit Decade of Error, a clever pun on a BMX trick, which the boys from D.O.E. were all very versed on. The band was Paddy Robinson on lead vocals and guitar, John Danko on lead guitar and vocals, Benny Kuleska (my personal spelling) on the bass, and Matt Volk on drums. Originally, Pat was in a band with Kevin Prouty and Rory Caldas, who said that kid Matt was too nice to be in a punk band. Rory was close... you can be really nice and be in a punk band, see Sean Rule, but it helps to be a punk!

Anyway, D.O.E. played alot with my band Power of IV, along with Super Hi-Five, Midiron Blast Shaft, Dutchland Diesel, and Excite Bike, and they would practice at my parents' or Matt's parents' and then sleep over. While Pat and John and Matt would pass out like scrubs, Benny and me would stay up and play Gran Tourismo. When Danko went off to become a doctor, D.O.E. was absorbed by Billy Frolic of Science For Kids and Mike Garcia of Excite Bike to form the weirdest band going at the time: Signal/Static. Then professionalism struck again and Garcia went off to become a CPA, leaving Signal without a frontman, so I joined and we wrote all new songs to become the Endless Mike Jambox, in which Benny switched to lead guitar and became the mc, because mc Ben is a bird who's gotta fly, gotta let a playa play!

The Jambox was a sick twist, fueled by Stroh's and frustration, wild and mean, but I grew increasingly upset with Volk's world-view (conservative Christie, republican, asshole, John Mayer fan) and he grew increasingly upset with my then self-destructive/prickish behaviour towards him, and he quit before the 2005 Punk Rock Prom, only to play it, his last show with the Jambox, and leave promptly. The night before there was a lame-ass party at his crib at which I made quite a scene and got my nose broke by some no-name palooka (and Paddy prolly saved my life by ganking my keys. Thanks Pat, love ya!). Anyhoo, we tried but couldn't find a suitable replacement drummer. Matt couldn't think, but he could drum, and the JB sorta folded... not me of course. I play in three fully functioning bands that explore different regions of rock and roll and punk rock, including the Wastoids with the incomparable, occasionally moody, always shredtastic, mc Ben.

Here's s'more from mc's collection.

A recent CvC t-shirt... they come in girl sizes!

Some mc Ben icons... known as as big a Phils fan as me, and a Baker Jeep All-Star as well (along with Bobby Campbell and Timmy "MM" Toner.

Two classic Destroy t-shirts. Back in the day a little bit my brother and this hipster Adam did Destroy Clothing. These are from when it was cool. For the real goods these days hit up http://www.fightorflightclothing.com/, definitely not Destroy, they suck now.
