Homegrown Cafe 12/9/09

For those of you who were at the Homewreckers show last night, here is what you missed: All three Madison acts, the Headies, Billy Frolic, and Tit Patrol performed to a large and uproarious crowd, both PA speakers were plugged in during the Headies set, my innovative hairstyle (Johnny Thunders meets Adam Lambert meets Kate Plus 8) was appreciated and not misinterpreted by Connor Ba-Durr! who is smart and supportive, and Tit Patrol played the tightest set any band has ever played anywhere. And if you were there, keep yer mouth shut!

Wastoids Wednesdays (As Seen In Spark)

Yes, I know tonight is Game 1. Yer tellin' me? The Wilmington Wastoids, and our leader Hot Toddy, support to our last breath the Fightin' Fuckin' Phils, and to a lesser extant, the Nation of Israel. Never the less, a booking is a booking and we will be shakin' it down on the stage at Homegrown Cafe on Main Street in Newark tonight. Two sets, one at ten pm and one at midnight, with Anne Frankenstein (with possibly a different name?) doin' it in between. We will have the Transistor Sister on stage with us for constant updates, and you can join us between sets at Margherita's Pizza to take in the game on full-color television. Go Phils! Go Wastoids!

Wastoids Wednesdays!

Like you aren't already coming, Wednesday's hottest action is at Homegrown Cafe on Main Street in Newark, Delaware! Hot Toddy and the Wilmington Wastoids take the stage for two sets, one at 10 pm and another at midnight, with Skinny Dick Jones doin' his thing in between. If you have a shred of decency you'll come and boogaloo so we don't have to do it by ourselves! New WASTOIDS T-SHIRTS as prizes for punk rock trivia, featuring gold ink! Oh, Newark, you are in luck! Off the heals of our wildly succesful one night stand at Main Street's Homegrown Cafe, Hot Toddy and the Wilmington Wastoids have been offered the gig as house band, taking over for Mad Sweet Pangs or some such nonsense, starting Wednesdays in October! That's right, Wilmo-Power-Pop-A-Billy has a new home, but what are you gonna do til October? Practice your boog-a-loo, that's what!
