The Headies and Terrifica at Pastabilities

We (the Headies) and Terrifica did an acoustic show at Chef Luigi's Pastabilities in Little Italy last night. We got bonus meatball subs, veal (Yeah that's how the Headies get down, VEAL), and prosciutto Sicilian slices! Plus, Mr. Moist is a mack! Of course, when the Headies play acoustic, it involves an electric guitar! Pete Terrifica had his 4-track out, so if it's any good, I'll post the live trax when I get 'em! Headies photos by Nickle-B, Terrifica photos by me.

The Heartbreak Kid 1972

The ORIGINAL Heartbreak Kid from 1972 written by Neil Simon and starring the incomparable Mr. Charles Grodin (along with Cybal Shepherd). This movie got us Madison Underground kids through some tough times, specifically through its mellow yet anthemic theme which played ad nauseum at our house on Paper Mill via the DVD menu screen. It also taught us how to treat chicks! Sike. Originally I just wanted to rip the menu screen from my DVD, but that proved too difficult. Our friend the Z Man a.k.a. Zack Bouchet Friedman (all three names may be mispelled!) turned us on to the HBK and his bro got us a very hard to find DVD burn. When Ben Stiller sorta re-did it, no one even did a re-release! So some dude took it upon himself to Google Video it, and that is from whence I took it, so it's legal, dude.

Performance of the Day 2/25/09 - OTIS!!

Live from the September 16, 1966 airing of England's "Ready, Steady, Go!" program. This is hands down one of the best performances I've ever seen, and I've seen Plow United! If we hang out, I've prolly made you watch this before, but if not check it out and just try not to groove. As if Otis wasn't enough, the band on this show is number one, man. They make the Stones look like shit! Otis is accompanied by the white boy soul of Eric Burdon and some dude named Chris Farlowe. While Eric can hang, Otis is the best there ever was and my hero! Best version of all these numbers, right here.
"Satisfaction" and "My Girl"

Otis doin' "Respect" and the Eric B. does "Hold On, I'm Coming"

Chris F. doin' "It's a Man's World" then Otis with "Pain in My Heart"

"I Can't Turn Ya Loose" and "Shake" with Eric B. and Chris F.

Book of Genesis

This is my religion now, and my cereal. I'll tell ya all about it when I get my thoughts straight/I am further divinely inspired by Mz. Tisdale.

Performance of the Day 2/24/09 - The Fabulous Mummies!

When Tit Patrol was in New Hampshire recording, we began living by Ape Doctrine, a la "Ape Must Not Kill Ape," etc... We also got the Mummies record that we wanted for a damn decade! The Mummies are of that terrific pantheon of Rip Off Records/Radio X bands, along with Supercharger, the Rip-Offs, the Infections, the Donnas, the Problematics, etc... Know it, love it, be it. U.S.A. Garage. Plus Great Ape Society Wilmington, Delaware.
"You Must Fight to Live on the Planet of the Apes" - Damn Right!

Plus Bonus "High Heeled Sneakers" cause it rules.

Mad more Mummies at YouTube, and "Never Been Caught" now available for download on Pirate Bay.

Champion Robinson

Here are some adorable shots my bro Paddy took of his pup Champ! Champ is one of a long line of proud Robinson Dalmatians... me and Pat grew up with Gypsy, who was beautiful and of the finest most mellow temperament. Next was my dog, Mona, who was almost certainly a bit inbred. It payed off physically, as she was pure beauty, but she was mad temperamental. But she loved me, and when I was in those harsh teen years, I could ALWAYS count on Mona to be another pretty, if misunderstood friend. Then came Rosie, a farm rescue dog who was a genius and old-fashioned. I miss those three very much, but love that Champion!

Tit Patrol Tour Journal #5 - The Main Course

Here it is, Tit Patrol at the Depot in York, PA. Ok, so the Trakes were supposed to headline, but their drummer dislocated his knee (thus giving the Main Man an idea), so the Tit were the headliners, five tasty rump roasts! Let me say, the kids of York are awesome. They went freakin' crazy and danced the entire time and loved them some Tit, so we uncharacteristically reciprocated (though we still live to hate). It was great sounding and we killed it, if I do say so myself. Pretty soon my man Jamesage will have vids available! Thanks to Murph for doing a freakin' great job with these Tit Patrol photos, and along with James, for driving us bastards around Central PA all weekend! Next time everybody comes.

Tit Patrol Tour Journal #4 - Bob's Hemophilac and the Tsunami Experiment

Opening the evening of February 21, 2009 at the Depot in York, PA was the Tsunami Experiment, surf rock.

The Tit is watching! And judging!

Bob's Hemophiliac, even better the second night. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Special thanks to Correy for lettin' me use his bass cause mine's input is whack! We're bringin' 'em down to DE to play at the Urban Bike Project, and until then check 'em out at www.myspace.com/bobshemophiliac!
